Sabrina Lopez
Sabrina Lopez is a type designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she founded Typesenses in 2009. Her original typefaces —which range from playful sans serifs to impeccably detailed scripts— are created by combining historical perspective, manual skills, and digital wizardry. With an education in Graphic Design and specializations in calligraphy, typeface design, and UX/UI, her diverse knowledge provides deep insight when interpreting handmade sketches for digital uses, which she describes as both pillars of her creative process.
Lopez’s fonts have strong, vibrant voices and personalities; her letterforms have enjoyed lead roles in branding, packaging, books, magazines, and ads for renowned companies all over the globe. Lopez teaches locally as well as internationally, and loves traveling as much as her typefaces do.
