Stéphane Dupont

Stéphane Dupont is a graphic designer and researcher in Paris where she founded her own studio in 2003, mainly working with cultural institutions such as the CNC (Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée) or Attac France. Besides this, she organizes exhibitions and meetings on graphic design, works with art students as well as students of social sciences. From 2003 until 2012 she was vice-president of the Galerie Anatome, the only permanent place in France dedicated to contemporary graphic design, having presented more than fifty exhibitions. Since 2013, with the support of a Cnap' grant (Centre national des arts plastiques) she conducted experimental research on Marianne Brandt (1893–1983) — the only female master of a studio at the Bauhaus. After immersion in the archives at the Bauhaus Archiv in Berlin and at the MoMA in New York, she drew an alphabet in homage to Brandt’s creations that became emblematic for the history of design.
