Najla Badran

Najla Badran is an independent Egyptian type designer. After completing her BA in Graphic Design from the German University in Cairo (2012). She went on to pursue her MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, (2014), where she is also currently pursuing her PhD focusing on Diacritics in the Arabic script. Najla teaches Type at the American University in Cairo.
