Carolyn Porter

Carolyn Porter is a graphic designer and type designer based in St. Paul, Minnesota. P22 Marcel Script, the font based on the handwritten letters of Marcel Heuzé, a Frenchman conscripted into forced labor during World War II, was released in 2014. The book that recounts the design of the font and the search for information about Marcel, Marcel’s Letters: A Font and the Search for One Man’s Fate, was released in June 2017.
